So where does the rubber meet the road? Emerging evidence shows the successful 21st-century lawyer must see him or herself as not only a superb traditional lawyer, but also as counselor, leader, strategist and innovator.

However many would argue that the burden falls on in-house lawyers to drive more value from their outside counsel. As law firms and law departments have focused on business intelligence and analytics, much of the attention has indeed gone to the financial side rather than supporting these additional roles.

Just as their counterparts in other disciplines use data and metrics to develop new operations paradigms, fine-tune customer strategies, select product features and define new markets, lawyers can use data and metrics to inform their business and legal decisions, driving proactive concepts more than reactive cost control.

Ark Group’s 3rd annual Business Intelligence and Analytics in the Legal Profession conference will explore both the challenges (economic and operational) as well as the opportunities that law firms and their clients face today—primarily revolving around how firms interact with their clients, what they’re willing to share, and ways they are willing to collaborate—as well as the collaborative tools and platforms that will ultimately diminish the walls between firm and client.

The future of analytics solutions in the profession face a Darwinian reality: Adapt and move forward with the latest in predictive analytics—or join the museums with the dinosaurs. Cancellation policy
  • Registrations can be submitted at any stage prior to the event, subject to availability. A limited allocation is being held and registering early is therefore recommended - in the event of the registration not being accepted by Ark Group the total amount will be refunded.
  • Payment must be received in full prior to the event.
  • All speakers are correct at the time of printing, but are subject to variation without notice.
  • If the delegate cancels after the registration has been accepted, the delegate will be liable for the following cancellation charges:
            1. Cancellations notified over 45 days prior to the event will not incur a cancellation fee
            2. In the event of a cancellation being between 45 and 30 days prior to the event, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged.
            3. For cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the event, the full delegate rate must be paid and no refunds will be available.
